RESOURCE CONSENT APPLICATIONS: Land Use and Subdivision Consents

For those unfamiliar with planning and resource management documents, it can be difficult to interpret District and Regional Plans and understand the resource consent process.

​My aim is to simplify this process for the applicant. With my specialist knowledge of the Waipa and Waikato District Plans, I will walk you through the resource consent process.

I will prepare a comprehensive Resource Consent application and take the application through the resource consent process.

POLICY PLANNING: Plan Changes

I have worked on numerous Plan Changes, both as the principle author or as a submitter.
I have contributed to several policy and plan drafting development processes, including:

Hauraki District Plan Review;

Thames Coromandel District Plan Noise Plan Change;

South Waikato Heritage and Ecological Inventory Plan Change; and

The Regional Consent process can be difficult if you are not used to the resource consent process. As an experienced planner I will guide you through this process.

My name is Louise Bourke. I specialize in the land use and subdivision resource consent process for the Waipa and Waikato Districts including Cambridge, Leamington, Tamahere, Matangi, Te Awamutu, Eureka, Te Kowhai, Raglan and surrounding areas.

I hold a Bachelors Degree with Honours in Resource and Environmental Planning from the University of Massey. ​
​
I am an experienced Town Planner with over 20 years Planning and Resource Management Experience. During this time, I fulfilled a wide variety of consent and policy planning roles in both the private and public sectors here in New Zealand and abroad.
​My vision is to provide professional and cost-effective planning services to help applicants navigate the resource management process with confidence. I also assist Local Councils with resource consent processing and preparing and implementing plan changes.
I have strong relationships with local professionals whose expertise may be required as part of the planning process, such as engineers, surveyors etc. I will ensure that we have the best team for meeting Council's requirements.
